Drax and Sitigrid Announce Partnership to Support Consumers and Small-scale Renewable Generators

Business electricity supplier, Drax Energy Solutions, and Sitigrid have launched a ‘Peer to peer’ proposition for Drax’s business customers and independent renewable generators. 

Sitigrid, an energy technology firm, matches half-hourly renewable generation with the actual electricity consumption of specific customers. This can save customers money with a reduction in certain third-party charges.  The savings are shared between participants and can be invested in making their operations more sustainable.

Drax’s adoption of Sitigrid’s platform will create a streamlined process for overseeing these new arrangements between generators and consumers.
