Sitigrid Partners with Good Energy to Reward Time-Matched Renewable Power

We’re delighted to announce that Sitigrid is partnering with Good Energy on a new initiative designed to strengthen the business case for renewables and accelerate the shift to a low-carbon grid.

Good Energy’s new Hourly Matching Credit scheme will reward both business customers and small-scale generators for consuming and producing power at the same time. Through our peer-to-peer energy matching technology, Sitigrid is enabling this innovative programme to deliver time-based value for clean electricity - creating real-time signals that benefit both sides of the market.

This partnership builds on Good Energy’s long-standing commitment to transparency and additionality in renewable energy. With over 2,500 small-scale generators already in its community and 90%+ half-hourly matching performance, Good Energy has been a pioneer in showing where electricity really comes from. Now, with Hourly Matching Credit, they’re going a step further - providing monetary rewards for using and generating renewable electricity when it’s most useful to the grid.
